Pathetic management at Star Bazaar. Huge crowd but only 2 billing counters open. Billing takes longer than the actual shopping because of the extremely slow process. Staff and management seem completely unbothered about customers wasting time in long queues. On top of that, the same product showed different weights on different counters, which raises serious concerns about accuracy and transparency. Totally disappointing experience — avoid this place if you value your time.

I visited Star Bazaar in Virar West to buy groceries and some non-veg meat. When I went to the meat section, I politely asked the salesperson whether the meat was halal or not. Instead of answering normally, the staff member responded very rudely saying “we don’t sell dead animals.” The response felt unnecessary and disrespectful. Rather than arguing, I decided to leave Star Bazaar without purchasing anything. After that, I went to Smart Bazaar nearby to buy my groceries and bought meat from a local shop outside instead. This was a very disappointing experience at Star Bazaar. Staff should be trained to speak respectfully with customers when they ask simple questions. First and last experience for me at Star Bazaar.
