Average company, promises a lot, charges hefty but delivers less. Mostly, once the entire payment is made (which they take before the products are even dispatched) then there is no one to even supervise. Pros: 1. Modular Kitchen is very good quality and wardrobes are good quality 2. Designers are giving proper indian suiting designs with color combinations not like everything dark 3. Manage the wardrobe and kitchens and wall painting work. 4. Staff is courteous , although work may not get done faster, but staff behaviour is good. Cons: 1. It's not interiors company, it's wardrobe and furniture manufacturing company. Aim is to fit everything into their standard designs. No customisations. For e.g. asked for fitting Hafele study table which fits into one drawer but they didn't change design. Fitting such things would also cancel their warranty even if you fixed from them . 2. The goregaon furniture mall has much better providers / shops, at half or even less cost. So if initially you get impressed with the homelane demo store etc, it's not useful during actual delivery. 3. In the initial phases, one can't foresee need of additional electrical connections etc which is told that we would handle it, it may need additional money, but at the time of actual work, you only need to manage, coordinate with vendors directly or through supervisor who everytime reminds that this is between you and vendor. 4. Not a one stop interior. One can actually take private interior decorators. For the wall painting outside house, initially in the scope was later told to get it done and left to us. 5. Once the wardrobe team goes away, it would take weeks and months to settle small small issues and it would be told as if it's our fault. They will simply change status the customer isn't available, in their system and then you keep following with the project incharge. Finally work gets done after much of your own efforts intervention and headache. In general, I won't recommend homelane. I guess that's the problem with not only homelane but alikes. If anyways, one has to get the work done from vendors and their workers, better initially plan and get good 2 to 3 vendors and move with it. For wall paintings take asian paints or alike services directly and ask them the designers who would suggest colour patterns or wall papers. If you give order then you are surely locked as initial amounts are non refundable, despite you don't like things, so either continue or lose money.
