I added two stars for the good owners. The guy present in the store is an extremely cranky and irritable person. Last year, I purchased a large beautiful seated Ganesha with led lighting and 5 brass Hindu idols. Gave them Rs.25k worth of business in one order. At the time of selling, the cranky man had said the metallic gold paint on the Ganesha's garments will not get tarnished. But it started turning black in just 6 months. When I visited him today, I showed him pictures of the blackened paint and asked him the remedy. I had not uttered the word guarantee or warranty, I simply and calmly asked him what's the solution. And he started rudely telling me in a loud voice that there is no warranty or guarantee for any items in the store. I again asked him what's the solution and I understand there's nothing like a warranty for the art items. But he should offer a solution since he had claimed the paint will not fade or get tarnished. He again started almost shouting that I will never give warranty or guarantee. If you want to get it repainted, you have to pay the artists fees. I said ok what would be the approximate fees. Again screamed, How will I know? Artist is not available now. When he will be back, you have to pay whatever he asks for. And he did this ruckus in front of other customers in the shop potentially jeopardizing future sales. I told him I will not shop there again left the store as I didn't want to traumatize my daughter who was with me. Even as we were leaving, the guy said, your choice don't come here again. Apart from this negative experience with the cranky man, the store has beautiful artworks and the owners are decent people. Last year, they delivered the Ganesha to our home carefully so that we don't need to worry about damaging it while taking it home. So two stars to the owners. But zero for the cranky store guy.
