I have not taken any service yet, but my first phone call experience was disappointing. The receptionist (or nurse) who answered my call spoke very rudely. I had just called to ask about the doctor’s timing because I am a working woman and needed to plan accordingly. The doctor was available around 4 PM, and I was ready to manage my work and responsibilities to visit — that was completely fine. But the way I was spoken to was not professional. My main concern is for patients who might be calling in an emergency. When someone calls a hospital, especially in urgent situations, they expect calm and respectful communication. The front desk staff are the first point of contact, and their behavior creates the first impression of the hospital. I request the management to please look into this matter, as such behavior can affect the hospital’s reputation and patient trust.

Karuna Hospital is by far one of the best hospitals with very hygienic and clean set up with reasonable charges. My father was admitted in somewhat emergency. It was a Diwali weekend [19 Oct 25]. Yet the staff was very attentive and there was a sense of urgency. The premises are clean. The doctors were very caring and approachable 24 x 7. They are genuinely interested in the recovery of the patient. The nursing staff were always on their toes. They were quick and responsive. The housekeeping staff was always present and they have kept the place clean and tidy. I didn't find mosquitoes even on one single day. Treatment was very affordable. My father was admitted for 10 days [first three days in ICU]. They have a small but good canteen facility. Waiting arrangements for attendants are adequate. Common toilets are clean. Security staff is strict and vigilant, as one expects them to be. The pharmacy is well stocked and have efficient way of running the supply of medicines. The gap between medicine being prescribed by a doctor to that being made available to the patient is about 30 to 40 minutes. This is very reasonable. Overall It is an excellent facility - very clean and affordable.
