Absolutely loved my experience at Malwani Kkalwan! The seafood was fresh, flavourful, and authentically Malvani โ especially the surmai and prawns. Rich spices, generous portions, and homely taste. Service was friendly and quick. A must-visit in Versova for proper coastal cuisine!

Being a lover of Indian foods... this is Above Any and All expectations I have ever had. it is a MUST Visit restaurant if you ever go to Mumbai. Ps. I recently visited this cozy seafood spot and had a really satisfying meal. We tried the crab soup, it was rich, creamy and perfect to start with. The bombil fry was well-marinated & crispy, their green chutney is a must-try alongside it. The prawns biryani was fragrant and delicious, with a generous portion that easily fed two of us. The ambience was pleasant, especially with the Christmas vibe and the staff were friendly, which made the experience even better. Parking can be a challenge due to the busy area. Overall, great seafood and good value, especially if you love coastal flavours! Cost for 2 people was 1.2k

I recently visited Malwani Kkalwan in Versova, and I must say the food quality was absolutely top-notch โ authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and very satisfying. I tried their chicken thali, which was somewhere in the range of โน460โโน490 (I donโt remember the exact price), but itโs important to note that this is not unlimited at that cost. After adding extra chapatis and rice, my total bill for a solo lunch came to around โน700. While the taste and preparation were excellent, I feel the pricing is on the higher side and not particularly budget-friendly. Suggestion: The management should consider offering unlimited thali at least for chapati and rice to make the experience more value-for-money. Overall, if youโre looking for great Malwani flavors and donโt mind spending a bit extra, this place is worth a visit.

Crab soup highly recommended. Butter Garlic Squids good flavour of garlic but a bit tough and chewy I guess a bad day for the Squids. Prawns Malwani Style very good big succulent and juicy prawns highly recommended. Prawns Rawa fry perfectly fried and upto the mark no complaints. Puran poli ice cream something new and unique too experiment must give it a try. Overall a good experience will definitely come back too try some of the thali.
