We visited this restaurant with high hopes (google reviews)of enjoying sea food in the first week of June. Ordered one prrawn thali, a Surmai thali and bombil tawa fry.We were utterly disappointed with the portion, size of the bombil fish and also the overall masala taste of the dish.Coming to the thalis initially 4 small Surmai pieces were served which we asked them to replace and to which they immediately obliged with a proper large Surmai piece (which was promised by the attendant while placing the order) but again we were served the thinnest possible Surmai piece an absolute shame for the price.A big turnoff again!! As the charges for thali was 775/- for both Surmai and Prawn thali.Atleast they could have served a decent size of the fish.Also to make it worse the rassa(fish curry )is not a exclusive or of a particular fish,they serve a common fish curry in all fish thalis which again was a bit bitter totally lacking aroma and taste.Also their are times when you want to have a good time and experience visiting such places and are in no mood to indulge in any altercation spoiling the mood. However the only food we enjoyed, were the appetizers cum accompaniments provided on arrival - papads, mango chutney was excellent.WE thoroughly enjoyed only that!!Never coming back nor recommending anyone. TEMPTATIONS THOROUGHLY DESTROYED!!

The food was absolutely tasty โ no doubt about that! ๐ By the time my thali arrived, it had already gone cold โ which was quite disappointing because Bhakri was not available ..so they told me to order Komdi vade .but not inclusive in my thali ..but separately A special shoutout to Neil Dutta for his exceptional service. Truly 5-star effort from him โ he went out of his way to take care of us, even arranging *komdi vade* when bhakri wasnโt available ..That kind of dedication really stands out. ๐ However, the overall experience was very disappointing due to extremely slow service. It was so delayed that people around us were literally asking, *โKya mera order cancel hua hai kya?โ* ๐ This is something the management seriously needs to look into โ because no matter how good the food is, such delays can cost you customers. Another concern was the poor AC cooling. It was uncomfortably hot, to the point that one of our members couldnโt even enjoy their meal properly and he ended up not ordering anything ๐ Honest suggestion: The hotel really needs more staff like Neil and better service management. But overall, we left feeling disappointed

Had a good experience at house of Maharashtra. We ordered the crispy fried prawns, a pomfret thali, 2 crab thalis, a chicken thali and a shimpy thali. The taste of all the items was excellent. Instead of chapatis we opted for bhakri.

Visited this restaurant today afternoon for lunch and had a nice overall experience. We ordered a Chicken Thali and a Mutton Thali, and the food tasted really good โ flavorful and satisfying. The service was slightly slow, but since it was a Sunday and the restaurant was quite busy, it was understandable and manageable. Overall, a pleasant dining experience with good food. Would definitely consider visiting again!
