Dr Mete sir is finest and very knowledgeable child doctor. His team is also good and everyone is helpful. He works for long hours and is never after money. He never asks you to follow up because he knows that his baby patient is going to be better with his medicines. I request him to start his OPD in virar at least 1-2 times in a week. I don’t usually write reviews but after what happened this week I felt like I had to. I am a new parent and my baby boy is just 8 days old. Few nights ago he started crying in a way we had never heard before. It wasn’t normal crying and he wasn't stopping. He refused to feed and face was turned red from crying...I was very exhausted and scared. I took him here bcoz our family friend suggested it and they have been taking treatment for their child since 2 years. Dr. Mete saw how anxious we were the moment we walked in. He checked our son very thoroughly but so gently. He kept talking to him softly while examining him. That immediately made us feel like we were in safe hands. He explained everything he was checking and why also no rushing, no dismissing our fear and stuff or even making it a big deal and asking us to admit our baby like the other doctors He calmly told us that it was severe gas😭 such a small problem but for us it was a disaster when you’re new parents and don’t know what’s normal. Instead of just prescribing medicine and sending us away, he actually showed us how to burp him properly (we were doing it wrong😭) how to hold him to relieve gas how to massage his tummy and what kind of crying is normal vs when to worry and in minutes of holding him the way he showed us omg our baby calmed down in the clinic itself. I can’t even describe the relief we felt. He was so gentle with our lil baby boy❤️ What meant the most was that he didn’t make us feel silly for panicking. He said, “You’re learning. It’s okay. Call if you feel unsure.” That kindness matters more than anything...as new parents, you don’t just need a doctor. You need someone who makes you feel less alone. Dr. Mete did exactly that.We walked in scared and overwhelmed. We walked out feeling capable. Forever grateful to you🙏🏻
