Even when they don’t know how to diagnose a problem with a device, they still take it up and end up making things worse. Instead of taking responsibility, they blame you for trusting them. I had to get Windows reinstalled on my laptop, and they offered to back up my data for an additional charge. I agreed, but I clearly told them that my data was not on OneDrive. The assistant assured me that he would take care of everything. However, when I received my laptop back, all my data was gone. The assistant had not backed up anything and kept showing me my OneDrive files instead. When I questioned him, he started making excuses and eventually said that backing up the data “would have taken too much time.” To make matters worse, the owner began gaslighting me, saying things like, “How do we know the data was even there?” and “You are the one who came to us.” He was also shouting at me for simply asking questions and kept defending his assistant’s incompetence with random excuses. They were pain to deal with and dishonest with me. If you cannot properly diagnose or handle a device, you should not mislead customers just to make money. Most importantly disclose before hand what you can do and what you can not do , instead of fooling. P.S. I suggest getting your device repaired somewhere else. Edit - In response to the owners comments Your statement that “there is no possibility that we take responsibility for data” BEWARE !!!This is the statement the owner will make after messing up things !! This is something you mentioned after the issue already occurred. This was never communicated upfront or else I would have gone elsewhere. This is the kind of ethics that this business follows. At the time of repair, I was explicitly assured that my data would be backed up, and I was even charged extra for this service. I also repeatedly reminded you about the importance of backing up my data, and each time I was told it would be taken care of. The issue is not about blaming you for deleting the data. The issue is that you failed to perform the backup that you had clearly committed to, because your lazy employee did not wanted to do things correctly. Additionally, the claim that my data was fully synced to OneDrive is incorrect. Only a small portion (around 5 GB) was synced this was already communicated to you in advance. Moreover your business did not back up my c drive data, not only that you did not even inform me about it. Because of your incompetency I have lost 6 years of data. Customers reading this review can themselves see the level of gaslighting he is doing As can be seen from his comments Thank you for exposing yourself through your comment. Customers reading this should understand: If you are not technically aware of your device issue, there is a real risk of being misled or given false assurances. !!! He would casually make the statement “ that the customer does not know how to use the laptop”. Hence he will mislead you. Very pathetic way to fool your customers. The owners response to my review clearly reflect this. Don’t delete your comment people need to know what kind of business they are trusting.
