Review for Metropolis Healthcare – Prabhadevi (Century Bazaar) I had a very disappointing experience at the Prabhadevi (Century Bazaar) center during my sonography appointment. My appointment was scheduled for 3:45 PM. While booking, I was informed that the doctor might be slightly delayed, so I arrived on time and followed the pre-test instructions, including drinking water. However, the doctor only arrived at 4:10 PM. Patients scheduled before me (3:15 PM and 3:30 PM) had already been waiting for nearly an hour. What was most frustrating was the lack of transparency from the front desk. Despite repeated inquiries, we were only told “the doctor will come soon,” without any clear update or explanation. This is especially difficult for patients who may already be physically or emotionally uncomfortable. The experience worsened once the doctor, Dr. Roma Lala, arrived. Her behavior was extremely unprofessional. She was loudly scolding staff inside the sonography room, and her tone could be heard clearly outside, creating a very tense environment. During my scan, there was no effort to communicate calmly or reassure me. When I asked about my results, the response was abrupt and unclear, which only increased my anxiety. While Metropolis as a brand has a strong reputation, this particular experience was far below expectations. I would strongly suggest better time management, clearer communication, and more empathetic patient handling, especially in diagnostic settings. Recommendation: If you are planning to visit this centre, I would strongly advise avoiding it for sonography services.
