The training is systematic and has helped our daughter gain the techniques to be confident with swimming. They maintain a 6:1 student to coach ratio, which works well most of the time. But, in a 35-40 min class, it's probably not possible to give the level of attention to each individual as necessary. So sometimes it feels like, regardless of differences in individual progress, all 6 students in the class are put through the same motions. Addressing specific gaps of an individual or fast tracking an individual who is progressing ahead of the others, does not happen naturally unless parents speak up about it.
