We visited Burma Burma after dinner specifically to try their desserts, having heard a lot about them. The dessert menu offers some unique creations, and the presentation of each dish is excellent. A lot of thought clearly goes into the plating, making the desserts as visually appealing as they are enjoyable to eat. We tried the Berry Burst, Burma Bombe, Avocado & Honey Ice Cream and the Caramelised Chocolate & Cheese dessert. All three were unique and well-executed, with balanced flavours and quality ingredients. The desserts were not overly sweet, allowing the individual flavours to shine through. Having said that, the Burma Bombe is definitely one for chocolate lovers, as it comes loaded with chocolate. Overall, if you're a dessert lover, Burma Burma is definitely worth a visit. The combination of innovative flavours and beautiful presentation makes for a memorable dessert experience.

We had a great experience at Burma Burma. We visited on a Friday at 7 pm and easily got in since we had a reservation on District. The restaurant gets quite packed during dining hours and reserving in advance is recommended. The staff was helpful in suggesting recommendations. Our table had a mix of Jain and non-Jain diners and the staff accommodated everyone quite well. The ambience was great and felt pretty similar to Chinatown. The restrooms were also quite clean. We tried the Samosa Soup split into two and it was good. Our favourite starter was the Lotus Stem Crisps that were served with a Coconut dip which was addictive and we ended up ordering it again. The Oh No Khow Suey was worth the hype. It was pretty filling even after splitting into two and was served with extra toppings of garlic, spring onions, peanuts, etc. We also tried a mango cooler on their limited menu which was pretty nice. Their Royal Tea which is served with biscuits was also delicious but seemed quite pricey. Overall, I had a great experience at the restaurant and will definitely visit again.

Had an excellent dining experience at Burma Burma. The hospitality of the staff was truly commendable. They were welcoming, polite, and very accommodating throughout the meal. Their attention to detail, especially while suggesting Jain friendly options, made the experience even more enjoyable and comfortable. The Jain dishes were absolutely delightful, offering the perfect balance of health and taste. The food was fresh, aromatic, and packed with unique flavours while still feeling light and wholesome. Itโs a wonderful place for those who enjoy quality vegetarian cuisine with a calm ambience and consistently great service.

Burma Burmaโs Powai outpost brings the highly celebrated flavors of Myanmar directly to Mumbai's bustling suburbs, maintaining the brand's reputation for exceptional 100% vegetarian fare. The restaurant beautifully captures the essence of Burmese culture through a vibrant, lively atmosphere that includes lovely outdoor seating, making it an ideal spot for both casual lunches and special dinners. An Authentic Culinary Experience The menu at the Powai branch is a brilliant showcase of Burma Burma's award-winning flavors, turning plant-based dining into a true adventure. Their signature Samosa Soup, a tangy and spicy broth featuring a crisp miniature samosa, is an outstanding way to start the meal and continues to be a crowd favorite. Another unmissable starter is the Steamed Buns filled with brown onion and roasted chili, offering a fluffy texture that is delightfully light on the stomach yet packed with incredible flavor. For the main course, the quintessential Oh No Khowsueyโnoodles served in a comforting, rich coconut milk gravy with an array of garnishesโremains the star of the show. Outstanding Vibe and Service One of the standout features of the Powai location is the fantastic balance between its modern, vibrant ambiance and authentic culinary roots. To complement the meal, their selection of refreshing beverages, particularly the Burmese Blossom cooler and their unique bubble teas, are highly recommended. Due to the restaurant's immense popularity and exceptional quality, waiting times can stretch up to 40 minutes on weekends since they do not take reservations during peak hours. However, the flawless execution of dishes, the friendly service, and the memorable ambiance make the wait entirely worth it.
