I have had the pleasure of learning Salsa at Baile-De-Salon for almost a year and have really been mesmerized by the professionalism and talent on display. Classes are on convenient times during the weekends and the instructors are accommodative in case you miss a class. As for the dance itself, it is led by Ajaz and Maneka who are highly skilled and have been teaching this art form for almost 15 years. They can clearly communicate the concepts and combos to the students, while also providing individual attention to those who need it (like me). The combos are challenging but achievable. They also ensure the students get a flavor of Latin American culture by orchestrating Rueda (Cuban form of Garba) at regular intervals. Apart from the top-notch instruction, I was also impressed by the diversity of the students. There were dancers of all ages and skill levels, and the instructors foster a welcoming and an inclusive environment. As someone who has never danced before, it was an easy decision for me to continue the classes in such an environment. Overall, I highly recommend Baile-De-Salon to anyone looking to pick up a new skill or simply have a fun and enjoyable workout. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer, there is something for everyone in this fantastic studio.
