Disappointing Experience Yesterday, my friend and I visited to purchase an iPhone 17. We reached the store around 9:30 PM and approached the Apple salesperson. When we asked for a demo, he simply pointed us to the display units and told us to check them ourselves. I also asked if the Sage colour variant was available, and he said no. Throughout the interaction, he kept checking his watch, which made it seem like he was more interested in leaving than helping customers. After finalizing the phone, I informed him that I wanted to purchase it through finance. He directed us to the finance counter for the EMI breakdown. Since we had a Bajaj Finance card, the process was quick and took only about 5 minutes. However, after getting the finance details, the Bajaj Finance representative told us to come back the next day because it was "closing time." At that moment, it was only around 9:40 PM, while the store's closing time was 10:00 PM. The Apple salesperson was nowhere to be found, and no one seemed interested in helping us complete the purchase, despite us being ready to buy. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in and told the Bajaj Finance representative to proceed with the process. Because of the unnecessary delay and confusion, we ended up staying in the store until around 10:30 PM, well after closing time. Once everything was finally completed, I met the store manager and explained the entire incident. He was polite, professional, and apologized for the experience. While I appreciate his attitude, he should not have been the one apologizing. The poor experience was caused by the lack of support from the Apple salesperson and the behaviour of the Bajaj Finance representative. We did manage to purchase the iPhone in the end, but the overall experience left a very poor impression. Customers who arrive before closing time and are ready to buy should be treated with professionalism and respect, not asked to come back the next day. Based on this experience, I would think twice before visiting this store again.
