I was trying to get a street dog admited. He has bot flies all over, he was walking in circles and almost a skeleton. He was not eating anything. They told me they don't take animals with ticks, fleas, or botflies. As it would "spread to other animals".... You are literally an animal clinic and rescue organisation. It's your job to look after the sick and isolate to animal with contagious condition. They are actively declining animals with most common aliment. So what, you only take animals with lavish background? All streets animals have some sort of fleas and ticks. It's like human hospital not talking anyone with common cold as it would spread to others. As I was trying to point out the absurdity of the whole thing. She got mad.
