For car battery charging, my experience has been good. But...

For car battery charging, my experience has been good. But not much choice of car batteries. I had exide car battery which died on me but was in full replacement period. They tested and informed me that the battery has to be replaced. They could offer only one brand. Though in warranty, instead of replacement, they offered Rs. 1500/- scrap value. So they aren’t authorised dealer for multiple brands. I have now my own doubts whether I should continue here or not.
