DESCRIPTION

We are a non-profit, no kill shelter for all breeds of dogs and cats. We are a caring stray and pet animals shelter situated right 9n the cost of Manori Jetty Malad west. Founded in June 2002, we rescue and care for homeless animals. Most of the dogs and cats that we take in are from high kill facilities that are euthanizing due to lack of space. Many have been abused, neglected or abandoned . Once rehabilitated and ready, they are carefully matched with prospective adopters and placed in loving homes. We do take in some owner relinquishments as well and there are a variety of reasons people give up their dog or cat to us. The most common reasons are lack of time due to a change in work schedule, moving, allergies, new baby etc.

I had to keep my doggies with the pet planet as I wasn't allowed by my house owner. They were the most generous people to accept all 5 of them. It's really difficult to manage with so many kids at a time without funding. I request all of you who are reading this to help them with whatever possible ways to make it possible. They need our support.

It’s not easy to manage a distemper case for a child that is on the streets, we got far only because The Pets Planet was the only place that was ready to take him in and do the course of medication. We need more such people that are prompt in cases like these. It’s sad to see for work like this not many people come forward to provide the necessary resources. Thanks a lot for everything you’ve done Rubina mam for Aaloo. The emptiness within might stay for a couple of days but happy that he won’t be in pain anymore. I just wish we could have him back but thank you really for all your efforts! Your caretaker Shivam, LSS doctors, your prompt response to the treatment and our queries, all of which we are eternally grateful for.
