We have visited mahim store for Birthday cake mean time my nephew ask for tresleches. And he started eating But in first spoon only it was too savar to eat so I ask the manager (kumar )to taste why it is savar but he started Arguing with me and said that this only we serve u want u take or other leave . mr kumar said. this is what they are serving it was very very bad experience we had.

Items purchased were stale... Had asked for chocolate...

Items purchased were stale... Had asked for chocolate croissants n was given hazelnut roll... Staff was not wanting to attend also.. Very bad experience at this outlet... Colaba outlet had fresh stuff....

I showed monorail cake picture with strawberries at the edge to the staff at the Celejor Mahim. He said to me that strawberry season is over so they will make this cake with cherries. Staff also said that the monorail cake can only be made of at least 4 kg & will cost Rs. 7000. I agreed to all the conditions the staff told me of & ordered the monorail cake for my nephew's birthday. I requested this staff for discount but he refused. Then the staff made the bill of Rs. 7200. When I told him that the agreed price for cake is Rs. 7000 to which he said that I need to pay Rs. 7000 only but he has to show Rs. 7200 (discount of Rs. 200) to the company. The cake arrived on time. It's was tasty & picture perfect however had rose petals at the edges & not cherries. As I cannot return the cake on birthday evening I accepted it but complaint about it after two days to Celejor Mahim. The staff at the counter was different who connected a call to the staff who took my order. The staff who took my order gave me all sorts of excuses for not having cherries in my ordered birthday cake & why they chose to put rose petals. I explained to the staff that only a single rose was used to cover all the edges of the birthday cake but they will require a box of cherries for the same. I informed him that I work for an international cruise company (hospitality industry) which also has bakery/pastry section on all the ships. I explained him the price difference between a single rose & a box of cherries & asked for discount accordingly. The staff then lied saying he has already given me Rs. 200 discount at the time of booking. I clearly told him that he is lying & demanded for Celejor's head office contact number. Since the staff was not accepting his mistake I gave up but decided to take this further. The staff at the counter at that time apologized & accepted that it is their mistake & shouldn't do that. He offered me a complimentary pastry & discount on my next birthday cake order which I refused. That staff really insisted to me take complimentary pastry which then I did but at the same time I even bought several other confectionery & savory items. (Cannot post the entire birthday cake picture as it has my nephew's name written on it).
