Amidst a dozen well known Cinema houses like Metro, Regal, Eros, Sterling, New Excelsior, Liberty and now shut New Empire and Capitol, Edward is one of the oldest single screen movie houses in Mumbai. Famous for being featured in the 1980s movie "Cinema Cinema" a film made on the journey of filmmaking in India, hope they can mantain one of the last remenants of the Golden Age of Movie Making

Not a popular theatre to visit as it is one of the oldest cinema house in south Mumbai. Movies that are shown are from 80s to 2000 era which were once popular. Since being economical and practising old school format of cinema, one may not find it ideal with family.
