I recently visited the Bata store in Thane and had a disappointing experience. The payment amount was deducted from my bank account, but I was informed that the transaction had failed. Despite explaining the situation and requesting assistance, the issue was not handled professionally. After repeated follow-ups, the EDC machine settlement was finally processed, and only then was it confirmed that the payment had actually gone through. The amount was eventually returned, but the entire process caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and wasted time. Customers expect courteous service and proper handling of payment-related issues. Unfortunately, my experience at this store did not meet those expectations. I hope the management takes steps to improve customer service and ensure similar situations are handled more efficiently in the future.
