Visited this place expecting decent food, but the experience left a lot to be desired. The dahi wada, in particular, was quite disappointing. Instead of having a balanced flavor, it leaned heavily toward sweetness, making it feel more like a dessert than a savory dish. On top of that, the wada itself was unusually small and did not seem properly prepared, both in texture and taste. What stands out most is that the food feels underwhelming for the amount being charged. A restaurant can charge premium prices, but there should be some effort reflected in taste, portion, and preparation. Sadly, that balance felt missing here. The ambience works if you just want to sit over tea and spend time, but for food that actually satisfies, there are far better options around.

After trying idli sambar, dahi wada, veg pulao, veg cheese sandwich, and Chinese fried rice over multiple visits, I feel this place is better suited for chai and conversations rather than actual dining. What disappointed me most was the consistency in poor food quality. I gave the idli sambar two chances on two consecutive weeks, hoping the first experience was just a bad day, but unfortunately, it was the same both times. At ₹70, the idli itself felt poorly prepared, and the sambar had a strange sharp taste, almost acidic, as if too much soda had been added. Instead of feeling satisfying, it actually left me with indigestion after both visits. Pricing would still be acceptable if the quality matched, but that simply was not the case here. Expensive food is understandable, disappointing food at premium prices is not. Good spot for chai and hanging out, but if you care about food quality and value, I would avoid coming here for dinner.
