We have been regular customers at Crystal Restaurant, Fort Branch, and have always enjoyed the food and service here. However, our recent visit was truly disappointing and below the standard we have come to expect. The attender was inattentive and ignored several things at our table. To make matters worse, we were served chapati instead of tandoori roti, which is a basic order mix-up that should not happen. Most concerning was the hygiene issue — there were two flies (makkhi) on the table, which is completely unacceptable in a dining setting. When we raised these concerns with the owner, Vaishnavi, we expected a quick apology and solution. Instead, she spent time explaining why the flies were there rather than addressing the problem or offering any resolution. A good restaurant owner should prioritize the customer’s concern and act on it, not justify the issue. We sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their hygiene standards, staff attentiveness, and customer handling. We want to continue being loyal customers, but experiences like this make it very difficult. Please do better.
