I had heard a lot about this place from friends, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The Sev Khamani here is unlike anything I’ve tasted before—simple, fresh, and incredibly delicious. A special mention to the uncle serving the food; he’s extremely generous with the portions and never hesitates to serve wholeheartedly. What makes the experience even better is the pricing—it’s unbelievably reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. If you’re a fan of authentic Gujarati local snacks, this place is a must-visit. Girgaum is a place with lots of eating options. Traditionally known for Maharashtrian dominance, the place now has substantial Gujarati and Marwadi communities. Sev khamani is a traditional Gujarati snack. Khamani here is loaded with Sev. You can either stand on the road and eat or take a sample home. Along with Khamani one can have stir fried green chillies to add some hotness to the khamani which has a sweet tinge like other Gujarati items.
