A Hidden Gem by the Sea! Had an absolutely wonderful experience at Bayview Café for lunch. The food was simply delicious; every dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and thoroughly enjoyable. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, the quality of the food, service, and overall experience make it completely worth it. The service was top-notch, with attentive and courteous staff who made us feel welcome throughout our visit. The café offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea and the iconic Gateway of India, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Convenience is another plus, with pay-and-park facilities available on the road. The rooftop seating area is easily accessible via an escalator, and for those visiting during the day, there is also a comfortable indoor air-conditioned section that's ideal for lunch. Overall, Bayview Café offers the perfect combination of great food, stunning views, excellent service, and a memorable ambiance. A must-visit destination in Mumbai, whether you're planning a meal with family, friends, or even a special occasion. Highly recommended!

Clarifying about the food rating of 3. Starters /Juices / American/European food - 5 stars However it's the Indian food like Biryani which was extremely disappointing. So if u visit this place for food. Please ensure to focus on things like pizza pasta etc for good food. Service is top notch. We went here at around 7-8 pm and the atmosphere was really amazing with the slight chill of the winter catching up. Gr8 place for a Saturday night family outing and dinner. Note - As the clock ticks deeper into the night...wait time might increase

Our first experience at Bay view cafe after recommendations...

Our first experience at Bay view cafe after recommendations from locals in colaba area. The location on the rooftop is definitely great with open views to the Bay Area and the gateway of India . Upon arrival they mentioned it would take an hour however they gave us a table within 10 minutes of waiting in the indoor dining area. We ordered a bunch of appetisers which everyone enjoyed and just one entree with some rice which was more than enough for the six of us. The rooftop ambience was great however I must mention to the management to keep it clean and more organised. The staff and was friendly and customer service was great. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’d like to enjoy a nice lunch along the Apollo bunder area.
