Akshay Kumar, born Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia on 9 September 1967 in Amritsar, is one of the most prolific and bankable stars in Bollywood. A trained martial artist, he worked as a chef and waiter in Bangkok before entering films.
Known for his action-packed Khiladi series in the 1990s and his patriotic blockbusters in the 2010s, Akshay Kumar has reinvented himself multiple times over a 30-year career — releasing 3-4 films a year with remarkable consistency.
