I had a very disappointing experience at Sweet Country Cake Shop. From the moment I walked in, the service felt unprofessional and inattentive. The staff seemed uninterested in helping customers and lacked basic courtesy. I had to wait quite a long time just to place my order, even though the shop wasn’t particularly busy. The quality of the cake itself was far below expectations. The design looked rushed and nothing like what was promised. The cake was overly sweet to the point of being unpleasant, and the texture was dry instead of soft and fresh. It honestly felt like it had been sitting out for too long before being served. Hygiene was another concern. The display area didn’t look clean, and I noticed crumbs and smudges on the counter, which made me question the overall cleanliness of the kitchen as well. Considering the price they charge, the experience and product quality do not justify the cost at all. There are definitely much better bakeries out there offering fresher, tastier cakes with far better service. Overall, I would not recommend Sweet Country Cake Shop. It was a waste of money and time, and I won’t be returning.
