I have had a terrible experience with Star Health & Allied Insurance, Borivali branch. I approached them regarding an error in my premium extra EMI deduction due to auto-pay. What disappointed me: 1. Despite multiple follow-ups, the staff refused to cooperate in processing the refund of the extra premium deducted on urgent basis 2. I have been transferred between departments multiple times, with no resolution 3. My calls go unanswered, and no one takes responsibility for the error This is completely unacceptable. As a policyholder who has been paying my premiums on time, I expected basic customer service and transparency. Instead, I faced dismissal and unwillingness to help.

There is a general feeling that Star Health is the worst service provider when it comes to claim settlement. I am not disputing that since it may be based on the experience of each policy holder. I too had few bad experiences. But I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate the Star Health Borivali branch team led by Mr. Saee Ameya Vaidya and Mr. Ajay More, who raised above expectations to resolve one of my claims which was rejected due to some technical issues. Mr. Ajay More was very much on top of the issue and guided me on each step until it got resolved/approved. I am very much thankful to the team and I am sure a genuine claim will never be rejected if we submit the necessary documents. 🙏
