My son suffered a severe TBI and diffuse axonal injury. His immediate need was cognition, voice, physio therapy. Atharv is a miracle shop. Right from Dr Gaurish the head of the facility to every physio therapist (Alisha Susan and all) took such individual special care of my boy that he looked fwd to every session there. The place is very a aesthetically done up with adequate space to work out or aqua therapy and even dance therapy. It's like a big family and truly the physiotherapists are etched in our life. We are fully recovered but yet visit atharv regularly just to keep our links with this wonderful healing place.

In November 2025 our life underwent a major transformation when my mom had a massive bleed in the brain. We were told by doctors that she would stay vegetative not able to use her hands and legs. We took things in our stride and after 40 days of hospitalisation and fighting the life threatening condition we finally got her home. Since I belong to the medical Background and had received help from Atharvability on mutiple occasions I got in touch with the team. It was then i realised that there are Coma stimulation techniques and so many other exercises that can make such patients regain conscious level. The team at Atharv led by Dr. Gauresh kenkre, Dr Namrata, Dr Alisha, Dr Amruta, Dr Raj, Dr Hamad and many more took all efforts for my moms recovery with empathy and compassion. They provided such a friendly environment that helped my mom in her recovery. It would be unfair if i do not mention vicky dada, Srinivas dada, rajesh and all the lovely supporting staff at atharv. After 6 months of intense physio my mom can now move her right hand, she can talk few words, sing old songs and has also started moving her lower limbs. Atharvability has given her a second lifeline, their uptodate infrastructure, transport facilities, compassionate caring doctors have made our path less difficult. We are forever obliged to this institution especially Dr Alisha who never forgets to motivate us every single session even though we sometimes feel exhausted. I would definitely recommend atharv for all the rehabilitations, so people can get a second chance to lead a healthy life.

In 2021, I underwent brain surgery for an infection that affected my left upper and lower limbs. While living in the Middle East, finding a specialized neuro-physiotherapist was very difficult. The therapy I received helped initially with movement and strength, but over time there was little improvementโespecially in my walking and shoulder movement patterns, as I was unknowingly reinforcing incorrect usage. On my neurosurgeonโs recommendation, I started treatment at Atharv Ability in Mumbai in 2025 with Dr. Alisha Dossa, a senior neuro-physiotherapist. I completed about 36 sessions, initially attending daily. I noticed significant improvement in my walking, shoulder movement, flexibility, and overall strength. Dr. Alisha is highly experienced and tailors each rehabilitation plan to my needs, adjusting it based on progress, pain, or limitations. She is patient, encouraging, and always supportive. all this with a smile. Atharv Abilityโs advanced robotic equipment and interactive tools have also played a key role in my recovery by improving coordination and brain-to-limb connection. Their gait training machine, โLexo,โ was especially helpful in correcting my walking pattern early on. Within a year, I was able to return to work in Mumbai and now manage a full 9-hour workday independently. I continue weekly sessions to further improve and regain my pre-surgery abilities.

I am visiting Athharva once a week for quite some time. My personal therapist Dr. Anjali Gambhir is great, dedicated, knowledgable and caring. In a neuro rehabilitation centre one requires physical therapy as well as emotional care and here with Dr. Anjali it is in ample measure. I am very happy with the treatment I am receiving. I am also happy with the modern equipment the centre has. It will not be out of step to mention front desk staff, Sandra and Ruchita who make my appointment schedule without a hassel. Overall I am very happy and satisfied with Atharva Ability.

i'm Avinash, a working professional based in Mumbai. I suffered a brain stroke in April 2024, which affected the left side of my body. On my doctorโs recommendation, I began my physiotherapy and rehabilitation journey at Atharva Ability from May to August 2024โand I can confidently say it was one of the correct decision in my recovery journey. Atharva Ability stands out as one of the best rehabilitation centers, with a team of highly experienced and dedicated physiotherapists. The director, Dr. Gaurish Kenkre, is extremely supportive, calm, and understanding. He takes the time to listen to patients and recommends the most appropriate and effective treatment approach. When I first started therapy, I was anxious and unsure. However, the positive and encouraging environment at the center helped me feel comfortable and confident. This kind of atmosphere plays a crucial role in a patientโs recovery journey. My physiotherapist, Dr. Shiwani, played a key role in my progress. She is very experienced, knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. She consistently listened to my concerns and provided tailored exercises to address my challenges. Even today, she continues to guide me regarding my gym workouts and recovery-related queries. which I truly appreciate. The entire team at Atharva Ability is extremely caring and vigilant about patient safety. Since many patients have mobility challenges due to stroke, spinal injuries, or other conditions, the staff ensures constant supervision to prevent any accidents. I would also like to acknowledge the support staffโMr. Ram, Mr. Srinivas, and Mr. Vickyโfor their attentiveness and care. In addition to Dr. Shiwani, I also received good guidance from Dr. Umair Kazi, Dr. Arpita Shetty, and Dr. Amit Jain. The entire team shares a common goalโensuring the best possible recovery for their patients. One moment that truly stands out in my journey was when during a casual chat with Dr. Gaurish i expressed my fear and lack of confidence in walking and balancing. Dr. Gaurish thoughtfully arranged a cricket activity one Sunday and encouraged me to try holding a cricket bat and take a batting stance, ensuring my safety with proper support. That day, I played cricket for the first time after my stroke. It gave me immense confidence and renewed hope for my recovery. Atharva Ability is among the best robotic rehabilitation centers in BKC, Mumbai, offering advanced equipment, hydrotherapy facilities, and a holistic approach to recovery. Although my recovery journey is still ongoing, the foundation was built here. Even today, I continue to visit the center for consultations and guidance. I highly recommend Atharva Ability to anyone recovering from a stroke or injury. Their expertise, infrastructure, and compassionate care truly make a difference. Special thanks to Dr. Gaurish Kenkre and Dr. Shiwani for their continuous support and guidance. I am also sharing a small clip from when i first tried playing cricket during therapy and a recent clip - -- showing how far i've come.
