We had originally checked with Soul Fry for their karaoke nights, but the owner mentioned that reservations usually need to be made around 10 days to 2 weeks in advance. Later, we ended up going there for lunch on one of the days. I had even called beforehand to ask if reservations were necessary, and he said yes, definitely. But when we actually reached, the restaurant was pretty empty. The food was good — nothing extremely standout, but overall decent. One thing we did feel though was that everything was slightly on the pricier side for what was offered. That being said, the interiors really give you that old-school Goan tavern vibe, which added a nice charm to the experience.

My first time in Mumbai, and I have absolutely no regrets choosing Soul Fry as my go-to spot! The karaoke night was an absolute blast and made the whole experience even more memorable. The vibe, music, and overall atmosphere were amazing, and I genuinely had such a great time. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip — would love to visit again!

Beautiful interior with good ambiance. They have musical nights as Thursday seems Karaoke night. Lots of people to sing. Food is not bad but average. Service is not bad too. Very attentive servers. Street parking only.

What a find. A cute little restaurant with goan vibes right in bandra. You would need to plan to be there around opening time if you want to get a seat in their cozy indoor area. They close for the evening making it a little exclusive with the time restriction. The food was really good. We ordered a chicken starter along with the prawn curry rice and pork vindaloo. The prawn curry rice combo is a must try. Coming from Kerala it gave me those beach vibes. The curry is runny and just perfect with rice. It felt just like it was made at home. The pork was incredible. The pieces they had in the vindaloo consisted of fat and flesh you always die for. Not a lot of places get this right. It was a little too sweet for my usual vindaloo but nonetheless tasty. We could not get an inside sitting spot but consider yourself lucky if you do. I'm sure the experience would be worth it. One of the best places i have visited in bandra.

If you’re into authentic Goan food this is a great place to be. They have karaoke in the evenings and is usually packed so you might have to book in advance, or take only outside seating. The bombil fry and pompfret rechado is a must try.
